LEGAL NOTICE
The City of Corry Airport Authority (“Authority”), with its registered offices at 649 and 800 Spring Street, Corry, PA 16407, has taken action to file with the Pennsylvania Department of State an Articles of Amendment to amend its Articles of Incorporation.
The Articles of Amendment are being filed pursuant to the provisions of Act 22 of June 19, 2001, P.L. 287, known as the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, as amended, presently codified at 53 Pa. C.S. §§5601 – 5623 (“the Act”).
The nature and character of the proposed amendments to the Authority’s Articles of Incorporation is to cure an error in the Articles of Incorporation regarding the length of the initial terms of office of the members of the Board of the Authority. Specifically, the length of the initial terms of office were mistakenly one (1) year longer than specified in the Act. The amendment correctly identifies the end date of the initial terms of the members of the Board of Authority.
The Articles of Amendment will be filed by the Authority with the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on December 28, 2023.
