ARTICLES OF AMENDMENT
The Erie Regional Airport Authority, with its registered offices at Erie International Airport, Tom Ridge Field, 4411 W. 12th Street, Erie, PA 16505-0393, has taken action to file with the Pennsylvania Department of State an Articles of Amendment to amend its Articles of Incorporation.
The Articles of Amendment are being filed pursuant to the provisions of May 2, 1945 (P.L. 382, No. 164), known as the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, as amended (“Act”), presently codified at 53 Pa. C.S. §§5601 - 5623.
The nature and character of the proposed amendments to the Authority’s Articles of Incorporation is to extend the life of the Authority for an additional fifty (50) years, which fifty (50) years shall start from the date of approval of the Articles of Amendment by the Pennsylvania Department of State. The Resolution approved by the Board of Directors of the Authority, setting forth the complete language of the proposed amendment to the Articles of Incorporation, is on file at the offices of the Erie Regional Airport Authority at the office address listed above for public review.
The Articles of Amendment will be filed by the Authority with the Secretary of the Commonwealth on February 15, 2019.
