NOTICE FOR REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS FOR REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 512 SUPERIOR STREET, TITUSVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA
1. The Titusville Area School District is accepting sealed bids for the sale of property it owns at 512 Superior Street, Titusville, Pennsylvania, as described in Crawford County Deed Book C 4, Page 531. The dimensions of the property are 183 feet by 170 feet.
2. Sealed bids will be received by the School District at its Administration Office, which is located at 221 North Washington Street, Titusville, Pennsylvania 16354. Sealed bids will be received at the Administration Office of the School District until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. The name of the bidder and “BID FOR 512 SUPERIOR STREET PROPERTY” must appear on the face of the bid envelope. Each bid must set forth the name, address, and telephone number of the bidder and be signed by the bidder.
3. A bid form can be obtained at the Business Office of the School District, which is located at 221 North Washington Street, Titusville, Pennsylvania 16354, or under public notices on the School District’s website (http://www.gorockets.org/PublicCommunityNotices.aspx).
4. Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the Administration Office of the School District.
5. All bidders are responsible to inspect the property.
6. No bid will be accepted unless it is in the minimum amount of $10,000.00.
7. An Agreement for Sale may be awarded by the Board of Directors of the School District at its July 15, 2013 meeting to the highest bidder. The Agreement for Sale will set forth that the transfer of the property from the School District to the successful bidder will be made within sixty (60) days of July 15, 2013.
8. The Board has the right to reject any and all bids for any reason whatsoever and may waive any irregularities in the bid.
