NOTICE OF PUBLIC AUCTION
FOR LEASE VALUE OF COUNTYOWNED PROPERTY
The County of Butler is offering a public
land lease to the highest bidder 3 +/- acres
of County-owned property located in Butler
Township Ward 1, on the north side of the
intersection of Center Ave & Morton Ave
known as Dist/Map/Parcel # 051-40-38-0000.
This land lease will be offered at a public
auction on Thursday, April 5, 2012, 1:00 p.m.,
in the Public Meeting Room, 1st Floor, of the
County Government Center. The County of
Butler is offering a triple net lease agreement
for a total period of up to 29 years 11 months,
with periodic rent increases, the lease will be
restricted as to use and environmental cleanup issues at the conclusion of the lease, no
adult books or movies can be rented or sold
from the leased premises. The successful
bidder must tender certified funds in the
amount of six thousand two hundred fifty
dollars ($6,250) payable to the County of
Butler and the conclusion of the auction;
failure to tender will cause the property to
be re-exposed for lease. The successful
bidder will be required to enter into a lease
agreement with the County of Butler, including
lease amounts and guarantees. If at the end
of the lease agreement renewal terms cannot
be successfully negotiated, any structures
located on the leased premises will become
property of the County of Butler free and clear
of all liens and environmental issues.
